Born and raised in Southern California, Dr. Jazayeri brings a unique perspective shaped by his early studies in mechanical engineering and a passion for understanding how complex systems function. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases before returning home to complete specialized sports medicine training at the prestigious Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic.

After more than 15 years of caring for patients within one of Southern California’s largest healthcare systems, Dr. Jazayeri expanded his practice to focus on highly personalized orthopedic care. He also serves as Director of Longevity at DOCS Health, where he helps develop innovative strategies that support joint preservation, regenerative medicine, and long-term physical health.

Dr. Jazayeri believes successful outcomes extend beyond treating an injury alone. His philosophy emphasizes preparation before treatment, advanced surgical techniques when necessary, thoughtful rehabilitation, and sustainable habits that help patients continue doing what they love for years to come. An active outdoorsman himself, Dr. Jazayeri enjoys surfing, hiking, rock climbing, snowboarding, yoga, strength training, and martial arts. His firsthand understanding of an active lifestyle allows him to connect with athletes and everyday individuals alike, helping them confidently return to the activities that bring them purpose and enjoyment.
